Highlands Neighborhood Center- Teacher Sherrill

Another thing we love at the Highlands Neighborhood Center (HNC) is the Little Hands Create art class with Teacher Sherrill (her last name is Parish if you're checking the program brochure). Teacher Sherrill is always upbeat and she really makes an effort to learn the kids' names. Most importantly for us, she is very flexible. For example, my son is obsessed with the color green. He also loves to get really messy. Teacher Sherrill is more than happy to get out the green paint just for us and let my son get globs of it on his hands and then "smoosh" it all over the paper. Most of the time we walk out of there with paper so full of green paint that it takes practically days to dry. But we don't care, at least we didn't have to get that messy at home! kidspot rating: 1.5
